HMS Marine Navigator

Here's a prop concept project I've been working on in my spare time over the past couple of months. The Mechanical Marine Navigator is inspired by the tragedy of Franklin's lost expedition in the mid-19th century, when the two Royal Navy ships, HMS Terror and HMS Erebus, lost their way during an Arctic exploration. Equipped with a maglev globe and an attached longitude/latitude reader, this conceptual device is designed to visualize the ships' locations and assist with navigation.
